Greetings from the Dean of the College Office at Brown University! We are delighted that you will be joining us this year.
The Dean of the College Office (DOC) oversees all aspects of academic advising at Brown. We match incoming transfer, visiting, and RUE students with academic advisors and peer counselors, provide guidance and support for students before and during their time at Brown, and help students take full advantage of Brown's intellectual resources.
We will email you regularly throughout the coming months to inform you of important tasks you need to complete this summer. To receive these emails, you must activate your Brown email account. If you haven't already done so, go to http://activate.brown.edu and click "Activate your account." You will need your Banner ID number. If you do not have immediate access to this number, please click the "Need help finding your ID number" link.
