Aiyah Josiah-Faeduwor is a 2nd-year Adviser from Boston, Massachusetts. He attended John D. O'Bryant High School of Math and Science - one of Boston's three Public Exam Schools. With the aid of BottomLine, a college access organization operating in Boston, he applied and was accepted to Brown University. The College Advising Corps provided a perfect opportunity for Aiyah - a Public Policy major- to experience firsthand how Rhode Island education policy directly impacts its youth and their ability to matriculate to post-secondary institutions. This year at the Community College of Rhode Island (Liston Campus), he hopes to give students the support and encouragement to successfully attain their Associate's degrees and/or transfer to four-year institutions.
