Benjamin Gudorf is a first-year member of the CAC and is currently at the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI), Liston Campus in Providence. He moved to Providence from his home state Ohio in 2012 after earning a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry with a minor in physics from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. After attending Brown University for graduate studies in Chemistry for one year, he decided to take a break from the hard sciences and concentrate his efforts on college access with the NCAC through the Swearer Center at Brown. Ben recently married his high school girlfriend of 8 years and, after adopting a black Maine Coon kitten, is now that weird guy who talks about his son-cat way too much. His excitement for college access is only matched by his love of working in research labs and cooking meals for people. Ben is very much looking forward to an exciting and successful year with the students of CCRI, and is working on keeping cat stories to a minimum.
