Unit 3: Sustain

Understanding an issue, identifying an opportunity, and launching a venture around it are big first steps.  But even the best logic models and strategic plans need more than ideas and energy to propel change.

Our generation has found itself at a particularly interesting point in the history of social capital; resources have been stretched thin to the point that parties are racing to invent new ways to create, redirect, and share value across initiatives and across sectors.  The possibilities can be limited or limitless depending on how creative you are and closely you listen.

This unit will explore the different types of funding, both old and emerging, that exist to develop and sustain social ventures - as well as strategies to squeeze the most success out of your grants proposals, donor meetings, and business plans.
