The Creative Arts Council is now accepting applications for the following:

Departmental Grants (Deadline - March 11) Providing funding of up to $5,000 to Brown faculty in support of projects including, but not limited to: visiting artists, performances, lectures, symposia, and exhibitions. Proposed events must take place in Fall 2011 or later.

Fitt Artist-in-Residence Grants (Deadline - March 18) Providing funding of up to $10,000 to Brown faculty to bring artists to campus for a residency of one week or longer. Proposed residencies must take place in Spring 2012 or later.

We are also still accepting applications for Course Development Awards (Deadline - February 9) Providing funding of up to $3,000 for the development of new interdisciplinary or intermedial courses. Funds may be used for course materials, student assistance, travel, or research. To request applications, email chira@brown.edu
