Master’s Funding

The majority of students enrolled in master’s programs and engaged in non-degree study are self-supported.

Most decisions regarding financial support for master's students are made at the program level, and there is a wide variety of practices and policies governing how this support is delivered to students.

Federal direct student loans and other loans are administered through the Office of Financial Aid.

The International Travel Fund provides funding for graduate students traveling abroad to present at academic conferences or conduct research.
