A new digital pedagogy series is on offer at the Sheridan Center this autumn. Three one-hour noontime workshops are open to graduate students and faculty. On October 16, the first workshop will introduce principles for designing effective online assignments. On October 29, participants will explore the challenges and rewards of conducting online discussions. On November 12, the session delves into the use of online peer grading. Graduate students interested in being a TA for an online course or seeking professional development for future academic opportunities are encouraged to register. Registration is required. Courses are advertised via Morning Mail, Graduate School email, and the Graduate Student Council listserv. Contact the Sheridan Center for additional details.
