A Special Program for Brown Graduate Students

Housed within the John Carter Brown Library is an internationally renowned, constantly growing collection of primary historical sources pertaining to the American's, both North and South, before ca. 1825. Meet the Curators of this amazing resource and enter into a conversation about a few choice JCB highlights. The dialogue will be facilitated by Susan Danforth, Curator of Maps and Prints, Dennis C. Landis, Curator of European Books, Kim Nusco, Reference Librarian, and Ken Ward, Curator of Latin American Books. The Library's current exhibition, "Off to College:  Higher Education in the Americas, 1551-1825," will be on display. The program will end at approximately 5:00 pm, but we will continue our conversation over drinks following the presentations.
