Christine Schutt

Fiction writer Christine Schutt is the author of three books, A Day, A Night, Another DayFlorida; and Nightwork, a short-story collection chosen by poet John Ashbery as the best book of 1996 for the Times Literary Supplement.  Her work has also appeared in many literary journals, including the Mississippi ReviewAlaska Quarterly ReviewThe American VoiceThe Kenyon ReviewDenver Quarterly, and NOON.  Winner of an O’Henry Prize and a Pushcart Prize, she received her MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University.
