Rodrigo Garcia Lopes is a Brazilian poet, composer, translator and journalist, author of eleven books as well as of interviews, essays and poems appearing in numerous publications in Brazil and abroad. His work has been included in The Best 100 Brazilian Poems of the Twentieth Century. Editor of the literature and arts journal Coyote, Lopes is lecturer in Romance Languages at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
