Will Rowe is founder and current co-director (with Carol Watts) of the Contemporary Poetics Research Centre, Birkbeck College, University of London, where he is also Professor of Poetics. With Stephen Mooney, Aodan McCardle, Ulli Freer, and Piers Hugill he is the co-founder of Veer Books. A poet, translator and scholar, his poetry books include The Earth Has Been Destroyed (Veer 2009) and Working the Signs (1992). He is translator of Raul Zurita’s INRI (2009) and of Antonio Cisneros’ At Night the Cats (1985) and The Spider Hangs Too Far From the Ground (1970).
