At Brown, research is part of our mission.  Brown faculty are well-regarded investigators with active projects in basic science, clinical practices, novel therapeutics and diagnostics, and public health. Opportunities abound for residents to become involved in ongoing research or to create a project of their own. A team of full- time research assistants is available to help enroll patients and manage data. Funding is available through multiple sources including our own Departmental Research Grant given out to multiple resident investigators each year.
