Dr. Donaldson's research interests include adolescent sexual health and eating disorders. Past publications and current projects focus on both of these topics.


Dr. Donaldson is a subspecialist in Adolescent Medicine, and the Medical Director of the Hasbro Eating Disorder Program. Her areas of expertise include general adolescent health, eating disorders, sexual health, and substance abuse. She participates in the care of hospitalized adolescents with eating disorders, and has outpatient clinics in both general adolescent medicine and eating disorders.

Teaching Experience

Dr. Donaldson is actively involved in resident and medical student clinical education through the Division of Adolescent Medicine. Areas of instruction include topics of general adolescent health (well adolescent, sexual health, contraception, physical education, nutrition, and other related topics), and eating disorder care.
