AMCAS

The American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) is a non-profit, centralized application processing service for applicants to the first-year entering classes at participating US medical schools. This service is administered by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). The application must be completed and submitted electronically. We are listed as Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University on the AMCAS list of participating schools. Refer to the AAMC website for details.

All academic transcripts are submitted to AMCAS and are due by the AMCAS application deadline of November 1, 2014. It can take several weeks for AMCAS to verify your transcript information. Alpert Medical School generally does not consider deadline extensions for the AMCAS application after November 1, 2014.

Alpert Medical School will send an email containing a link to the secondary application to all applicants for whom we have received a verified AMCAS application.

Applicants who are interested in the new combined MD-ScM degree program will use the same secondary application as those who are interested in the Regular MD program. Instructions within the application will guide you.
