The Medical Parents Committee offers parents of PLME and medical students a great opportunity to become more involved in Alpert
Melvin and Thea Mancini, parents of Alexis, are co-chairs of the MPC.Medical School. Members participate in special programs and events of interest to parents designed to familiarize them with the Medical School, its programs, and faculty. In addition, members are asked to be goodwill ambassadors for the School through involvement in hosting events, planning programs, and supporting and encouraging parent giving to the Medical School. The support and participation of enthusiastic Brown parents have helped to ensure that Brown University and Alpert Medical School continue to be vibrant centers for teaching and learning.
MPC Meetings
The Medical Parents Committee meets every October during Brown's Family Weekend. Family Weekend 2012 will be held Friday, October 19 through Sunday, October 21, 2012. The next meeting will be held on Sunday, October 21 at 9 am in the Medical School building, room 275.
