Pumping Up Your Presentations

DESCRIPTION: This session will provide participants with further training in the art of public speaking, targeting those who would like to improve their ability to capture the attention of their audience and develop a more powerful and effective teaching style. It is geared towards speaking to larger audiences but can be used in the classroom as well. There will be an optional opportunity to learn basic and advanced Powerpoint skills after the presentation.
CORE SERIES TOPIC: This program is part of our core series under the topic of presentation and lecturing skills.
1. Describe ways to improve presentation delivery
2. Identify tactics that can help develop confidence in speaking
3. Select ways to improve slide content
4. Apply tactics that help engage learners and capture the audience
