Ph.D. Candidate Teresa Ramirez of the Molecular Pharmacology and Physiology Graduate Program will present her thesis titled, "Contributions of Insulin Resistance, Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress, and Ceramides in Alcoholic Liver Disease" on Wednesday, December 11th @ 2pm at LMM 70 Ship St. Room 107. As part of the MPPB Department Seminar Series, Samuel C. Dudley, MD, PhD will present a talk titled "Mechanism, Diagnosis, and Treatment of Diastolic Heart Failure." The seminar will be held on Friday, December 13th at 12noon in Sidney Frank Hall Auditorium Room 220, hosted by Jeff Morgan. All are welcome to attend.
Dr. Dudley is the Chief of Cardiology and Director of the Cardiovascular Institute at Rhode Island Hospital/Miriam Hospital and the Ruth and Paul Levinger Chair in Medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School.
