Since 2004, the PSTC has occupied Mencoff Hall, a recently renovated four-story building on Brown University’s central campus. With over 10,413 sq ft of dedicated space, PSTC also occupies a floor in Maxcy Hall, where the Program for Spatial Structures in the Social Sciences (S4) is housed.
Mencoff Hall features four levels of workspace that includes 25 offices for faculty, post-docs, visitors and staff, 30 carrels for graduate students and research assistants, a computer lab, a state-of-the-art seminar room, generous exhibit/function space, two secure data rooms, and several meeting areas. Maxcy Hall houses GIS facilities as well as other offices for S4 faculty, postdocs, and staff.
