PROVIDENCE, R.I. [Brown University] — The Department of Anthropology at Brown University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in socio-cultural anthropology with a specific focus in population studies. The geographical area is open, but expertise on Africa, Asia, or the Middle East is a plus. The successful candidate will be expected to participate actively in Brown’s Population Studies & Training Center, including pursuing an active research agenda and teaching and supervising graduate students in the department’s anthropology and population track.
