Chelsie is a second-year doctoral student in the Department of Epidemiology. Prior to starting her doctoral studies, Chelsie received her Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Boston University. Chelsie collaborates with Boston Medical Center on tuberculosis (TB) projects in India and with the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease on TB research in West Africa. Chelsie's research interest is focused on infectious diseases in low- and middle-income countries. She has a particular interest in the intersection of TB and nutrition, especially among children. Outside of work, Chelsie enjoys reading historical fiction and loves all things Halloween.
