Pandemic Journaling Project

The goal of the Pandemic Journaling Project is to make sure that ordinary people struggling through this pandemic have their voices heard, and their experiences remembered.

Established in spring 2020 by Sarah Willen of the University of Connecticut and anthropologist Kate Mason of PSTC, the PJP provides an online platform for weekly digital diaries documenting their experiences of the pandemic. More than 750 people around the world contribute regularly (most from the US and Mexico). Journal entries will be made public in a university archive in 25 years.

The New York Times profiled the project in February 2021.
