In 2004, the Population Studies & Training Center moved from the 3rd floor of Maxcy Hall (Sociology Department) to a renovated Mencoff Hall, former home of the Rhode Island Historical Society. The 4-floor building houses almost 20 faculty offices, administrative offices, conference and seminar rooms, 30 student carrels, computer lab, secure data rooms and a light-filled foyer.
