Congratulations to Rochelle Rosen on winning the first Annual RINS Innovation Award

BSS is very pleased to announce that Rochelle Rosen was selected for this year's BSS Research Innovations and Networking Series (RINS) Innovation Award.  Her project, done in collaboration with Professors Beth Bock and Nancy Barnett, involves novel methods for developing content for a text message intervention to reduce college student drinking.  This project will be featured in a RINS talk next academic year.

Congratulations to BSSI graduate students Miriam Midoun and Sylvia Shangani, who co-authored a paper published in the Journal of the International AIDS Society, entitled "Experiences of healthcare workers providing services to men who have sex with men: qualitative findings from a sensitivity training programme." The paper is the result of collaborative project between researchers at Kenya Medical Research Institute, Kenya
