The Brown University Board of Fellows has voted to approve the recommendation of the faculty to establish a Ph.D. Program in Behavioral and Social Health Sciences. BSHS is the 4th doctoral program offered by the Brown University School of Public Health. We are currently recruiting the inaugural class to matriculate in the Fall of 2014.

Congratulations to BSS Professor Kim Gans, Ph.D., MPH, LDN for winning the American Public Health Association, Food and Nutrition Section’s Mary C. Egan award. This award was established in 1985 to honor Dr. Mary Egan who had a major role in the development and implementation of the National WIC Program.
