General Campus Tours & Information Sessions

We invite all prospective students to visit the sights, sounds and history of Brown University through our information session and campus tour programs. Tours last approximately one hour and information sessions approximately 50 minutes. Both are intended to complement one another, and therefore contain different information for prospective students and their families.  To maximize your visit, we encourage visitors to attend both, if possible. All information sessions and campus tours begin at the Stephen Robert '62 Campus Center located at 75 Waterman Street, Providence, Rhode Island. The campus center information desk  hours are 8:30AM-5:00PM Monday-Friday. Although reservations are not required for campus tours, we do recommend them. Please see the schedule and registration link below. Reservations are not required for Information Sessions, see schedule below.

Street Parking: Visitors may find metered street parking on the streets in and around campus, which costs 25 cents for every 12 minutes. Please pay close attention to signs that are marked for Brown-specific spaces -- these are reserved for Brown employees only.  Please do not park in these spaces.   Cars parked in these spaces without Brown University parking permits may be towed at the owner's expense.  For additional parking and direction information please click here. A number of construction projects are underway throughout Providence that may disrupt traffic and parking. Campus visitors are encouraged to plan ahead and arrive early.
