Note Taking

SEAS Online is now up and running on the Web!

Please use the link below to access the main page and then bookmark it for reguloar use. Instructions on using SEAS Online are on the pages each for Note Takers and Note Receivers at the links in the menu on the left.

If you have any questions, you can email or call SEAS at 401-863-9588. Thank you for your patience as we get this new system up and running.

SEAS is now using an online system to provide confidential class notes to registered students.

To Instructors: Only one (1) note-taker is needed for each course. Thank you.

Note takers and Note Receivers will both log in at the URL below (Bookmark this for repeated use).

Once at the main Seas Online page:

Note-takers will click on the Note-takers link and will follow the steps to authenticate and volunteer to take notes for specific courses.

Note Receivers will click on the Course Notes link and will follow the steps to authenticate and request notes. Once a volunteer registers, they can begin uploading notes and note-receivers can begin downloading notes. (Only one note taker per course will be assigned).

All are required to authenticate via the Shibboleth system (Brown  username and password).

See these pages here at the SEAS website for specific instructions on how to use the Note-taker and Course notes systems. (Bookmark these pages for repeated use).

Please note that Dining Dollar payment to note-takers for a complete semester of notes must be picked up at SEAS by the note taker preferably at the end of the semester in which notes are provided but no later than the semester after the semester in which notes were provided.

If you have any querstions about how to use the Seas Online system, please email or call SEAS at 401-863-9588. SEAS is open M-F, 8:30am to 5pm.
