CareerLAB offers general and specialized advising to meet the full range of your career advising needs. You can schedule a private meeting with one of our career advisors, drop by our open hours to meet with a peer or staff advisor, connect with an advisor via IM chat, or drop by Advising Central in JWW for a snack and informal career discussions.

Appointments

Call 401-863-3326 or stop by 167 Angell Street to schedule a 30-minute appointment with a career advisor. Even if you don't have specific questions, you are welcome to make an appointment.

Walk-In Hours

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 1:30 pm-3:30 pm, 167 Angell Street, 1st floor. Undergraduates can also come to walk-in hour staffed by peer career advisors on Sundays from 3-6 pm. Come to walk-in hours for quick questions, resume or cover letter critique, and to learn about our services. Use our computers to access online resources. (Available fall and spring term).

Graduate Walk-In Hours

Thursdays 2:30-3:30 PM. 167 Angell Street, 3rd floor. (Available fall and spring term.)

IM "Walk-Ins"

Mondays and Fridays 1:30-3:30 pm. Invite careeradvisor@brown.edu to chat and an advisor will be right with you to answer any quick questions and concerns. (Available fall and spring term.)

Coffee and Careers

Monday mornings 10 am-noon in Advising Central, J Walter Wilson, 3rd Floor. Chat with a career advisor while enjoying free coffee and muffins! (Available fall and spring term.)
