Spring 2012 Open House!

On February 2, 2012, SDWC's Spring Semester Open House brought together students representing various gender/sexuality student groups across campus, students interested in getting involved with these groups and/or SDWC, and full-time staff from SDWC, TWC, and the LGBTQ Center for fun, snacks, and networking. Representatives from Sojourner House and the Women's Fund of RI also joined us to talk about how Brown students can make a difference for women and girls on a local level.

Family Weekend Book Sale

The 2011 Sarah Doyle Book Sale held over Family Weekend (October 15, 2011) was a fun, busy event with food, music, a gallery exhibit and book browsing. All titles sold for a dollar and SDWC donated all of the proceeds to Books for Africa. Relevant titles that are left over are being donated to Occupy Providence and Prison Library Service.

Fall Open House

The SDWC Fall Open House held on September 22nd, 2011, brought together many representatives from gender/sexuality groups on campus to meet, network, and explore the resources of the SDWC while enjoying assorted snacks, drinks, and Meeting Street Cookies!
