Leadership and Conflict Resolution in Northern Ireland: Literary, Historical, and Political Perspectives on Peacebuilding

Brown University, in partnership with Queen’s University, is pleased to offer a unique international experience for high school students.

This 2-week summer program offers an examination of conflict resolution and peace-building efforts in the city of Belfast, Ireland. Students will study conflict analysis and resolution, and at the same time equip themselves with the framework and tools to analyze the challenges of a complex global issue.

Nestled between the coast and the mountains, Belfast is the center of industry, as well as the arts, higher education and business, and is the economic engine of Northern Ireland. Despite being the capital, the city retains its neighborly feel and has an up and coming artistic center with flourishing arts and culture festivals.
