A field studies experience in Turkish culture and society
Dr. Lisa DiCarlo is an applied anthropologist and faculty member in the Sociology Department at Brown. She is also the Founder of the Field School for Social Innovation. Her research focuses on social innovation as a culturally embedded, context-dependent process. She is the recipient of two Fulbright Fellowships, a published author in the areas of innovation, migration and identity politics, and she has more than 20 years of experience living, teaching and conducting research in Turkey.
