Dennis Congdon
Dennis Congdon is a Professor of Painting, Rhode Island School of Design. He received his BFA from RISD and an MFA from the Yale School of Art. Congdon has taught at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Tyler School of Art and the San Francisco Art Institute. He has recently been a visiting artist at University of Washington, Rhodes College, Mass College of Art, and Anderson Ranch. He has been the director of the RISD Summer Rome for the past two summers. His paintings, drawings and prints employing a variety of media have been shown in galleries and museums throughout the U.S. He was awarded the Rome Prize in 1983 and is a 2002 recipient of a Guggenheim fellowship.
Wendy Edwards
Wendy Edwards is a Professor of Visual Art at Brown University. Professor Edwards is a painter whose work has been exhibited throughout the United States, particularly in New York and Boston. More recently, her work was exhibited in Paris, France, and Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and was included in the "Couples Discourse" exhibition at the Palmer Museum, Pennsylvania State University. Susan Lichtman
Susan Lichtman is an Associate Professor of Fine Arts and Director of the Studio Program at Brandeis University. She has an AB degree from Brown University and an MFA, Yale School of Art. Lichtman has been a recipient of awards from the Tiffany Foundation and the American Academy of Arts and Letters. She has upcoming exhibits of paintings at the Lenore Gray Gallery in Providence and Gross McCleaf Gallery in Philadelphia, and an article on her work appeared in the September 2008 issue of American Artist. She has been invited to be a visiting artist at numerous schools, most recently Oberlin College and Indiana University.
Jerry Mischak
Jerry Mischak is Senior Critic at Rhode Island School of Design and Visiting Scholar at Brown University. He received his BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and MFA from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mischak has exhibited his work recently at the Palmer Museum, Penn State University, Cypress College Art Gallery, Cypress, CA. Islip Art Museum, Lehman College Art Gallery, PavelZoubok Gallery and Jim Kempner Fine Art in New York, and Boston Center for the Arts and Diverse Works Gallery, Houston. His work has been reviewed in the New York Times the New Yorker, Art Lies, the New York Sun, and the Frankfurte Alljimime Zeitung.
