John Styer
Director, Enterprise Application Services
As Director of Enterprise Application Services, John Styer oversees teams that provide Project Management, Web Services, and Reporting/Data Warehousing services, as well as teams that implement and support enterprise systems such as Human Resources and Payroll, Financials, Budgeting, Research Administration, and the Banner Student system. He serves as staff to the Information Technology Project Review Committee and the Student Systems Coordination Committee, two groups that review, prioritize, and make decisions about new IT project requests.
John has over 27 years of experience in information technology as an applications developer, project manager, and in other leadership roles. Before joining Brown University in 2000, he held technology-related positions in government, insurance, and various consulting services.
