MMC Online Open House Registration - Fall 2021
Open House events for the Music and Multimedia Composition Program take place online on Friday, October 22nd and Friday, November 12th, 12:00 - 2:00pm EST on both days. The events are for visitors to learn more about the PhD program and will provide prospective candidates with an overview of our research, curriculum, production resources, and an introduction to our faculty and students.
During the Open House there will be a brief overview of the program followed by smaller group meetings with students and faculty. The aim of the event is to provide potential applicants with the opportunity to engage in dialog with members of the program rather than present a showcase of the work done here. Please familiarize yourself with the program and the people in it before the Open House by using the information and links found on the Music Department website.
In addition there will be two Info Session events in December that are designed to provide extra information on preparing your application materials. These will be held on December 3rd and 10th, at 12:00 - 2:00pm EST on both days. The Info Sessions will have fewer faculty and students available, so if you want to make sure to speak with a greater number of them to get a more complete sense of the program then be sure to sign up for one of the earlier Open House events.
Please be sure to register for any of these events at least one day in advance so we can make arrangements based on an accurate count of expected visitors. A Zoom link will be provided to registered participants shortly before the event takes place. Note that space in the Open Houses is limited, so please register early.
