  • 25Live Space Scheduling

    25Live is an online interface used to reserve and request classroom and event space on campus.  Members of the Brown community can check space availability and request space online. 
  • ADP Pay Stub and W2 Viewing

    Access to pay stubs and W2 tax forms from before July 2012 (newer content is in Workday).
  • Banner Access for Administrators

    Administrative web access to course registration, admission, student accounts receivable and financial aid administrative functions. For regular self-service access, see Banner Self-Service.
  • Banner Self-Service

    Web access to applicant and student data related to admission, financial aid, declining balance (available balance and a 30 day history), and course registration. For administrative (staff) access to banner, see Banner Access for Administrators.
  • Brown Account Tagger (BAT) Lookup Tool

    The BAT system manages BAT keys, which are used in  financial transactions input into Workday via integrations.   BAT keys identify groups of Workday worktags.  The web-based  lookup tool allows users to translate between BAT keys, worktags, and legacy account codes.
  • BrownReady Continuity Planning

    BrownReady Continuity Planning is the web-based continuity planning tool used by the University to document departments' critical functions and the resources required to perform these functions.

    Enterprise Application Services (EAS) provides a wide variety of services and support associated with enterprise software systems. These services include: assistance with the evaluation and selection of new software packages implementation of commercial and open source applications development of custom applications integration with existing business systems modification of existing enterprise systems resolution of problems with existing enterprise systems project management  vendor management
  • CBORD Odyssey

    Application used to manage Dining Services,  Residential Life and Brown Card Office functions.
  • CIS Billing Service (Pinnacle)

    This system is used by the CIS Finance and Administration group to bill Brown departments.
  • Coeus

    Research administration package which allows users to manage research proposals, grants, human subject and animal protocols. For the development and delivery of reports from Coeus, see Information Delivery and Reporting.
  • Conflict of Interest

    System for managing conflict of interest assurance and reporting forms submitted by research faculty.
  • FileMaker 12 Database Hosting

    Brown’s FileMaker server can host FileMaker version 12 databases, offering the benefit of easier collaboration, higher security, and regular backups. 
  • Information Delivery and Reporting (Cognos)

    Development and delivery of reports and other output from the University's administrative systems, such as Banner (student records), Coeus (proposals and awards), FIS (faculty information), 25Live (space scheduling), and others.
  • IT Disaster Recovery

    There are several options for protecting systems and applications  from unforeseen events.  CIS will work with system administrators to select the best method to protect Brown's critical applications. Disaster recovery is provided through the use of widely adopted industry technologies supporting data storage, network backups, data replication, alternative data center sites, system run books, standardized application verification plans and vendor contracts supporting equipment replacement.
  • IT Ticketing System (Remedy)

    Remedy is a ticketing system for handling requests and help tickets for information technology applications and services.
  • Kronos Time and Attendance

    Kronos is a time collection system used by several departments to record employee work hours and attendance. 
  • Miscellaneous Accounts Receivable

    System to record and bill receivables for miscellaneous charges incurred by individuals or external entities.
  • Web Ledgers

    Web-based access to financial accounting data.
  • Workday

    Workday is Brown’s unified (integrated) administrative information system for human resources, payroll, financial management, and related business functions. The service can be accessed online via Web browser and from an iPhone/iPad app available for free from the iTunes store.
