CIS Software Services negotiates and manages software licenses for the most commonly used applications at Brown. The software distribution download page provides an extensive list of available software which is available to members of the Brown community at no cost. Stand alone copies of software are also available for faculty and staff who require unrestricted access to certain packages. Microsoft software is also available at discounted rates for faculty/staff and students. Software Services will assist in finding the best alternative source for software not available on the download page.
