Alozie Nwosu

Make the web work for you. Simple. It's our library, our workbench, our lecture hall, our water cooler, and much more. Alozie's raison d'etre is to build the tools that put these and other possible uses well within reach for novices and experts alike. Since starting in IT in 1996 he's had a passion for all things Open Source and Open Standards, with the aim of harnessing the tools produced by the Free/Libre Software Movement to make the Web easier to build, use, and maintain - particularly for those whose access to technology resources and expertise is limited.

What's Alozie up to?

  • Department website service (via CMS)
  • Implementation of standard CMS infrastructure (Drupal)
  • Information-sharing strategies and infrastructure
  • About 6'2", 220.

Alozie geeks out on...

  • Linux-enabling his apartment
  • Bio-diesel, though not sneaking into McDonald's to siphon off the fryolators... yet
  • Movies and screenwriting
  • ...Yeah, okay, and comic books

Alozie's self-improvement goal...

...to stop hoarding books. Large boxes of them can be very bad on one's back, as he recently discovered.
