2014 Instructor Workshops
Workshop #1: Understanding and Teaching Pre-College Students
Monday March 24, 12-1:30PM
Location: CIT 219.
In this workshop we will be talking about the population of pre-college students you’ll be teaching, discuss the varieties of challenges this particular group poses to instructors, and together look into a variety of ways to work with them. We will discuss the condensed format of the summer courses and ways to keep students attentive and motivated for three hours every day! This workshop will also provide a bit of an overview for what is to come in terms of Canvas resources and subsequent face-to-face workshops.
Please check back for future workshop dates.
