Photography at the Graduate School Ceremony

The Graduate School has selected Island Photography as its graduation photographer for 2007. Each graduate will be photographed twice during their Ceremony: once as they cross the stage and are handed their diploma by the Brown Corporation Fellow (please do not stop or pose) and a second time in front of a backdrop of flags after they come down off the stage (now SMILE and look at the camera!). Island Photography will also be making candid photos of advanced-degree candidates and their family and friends after the ceremony.

Brown University is not responsible for placing orders or mailing photos and will not provide any information about its graduates directly to Island Photography. If students would like photos from Island, they will need to complete the address card that will be handed out at rehearsal.

Graduates who do provide Island Photography with contact information will receive complimentary color proofs within 4-7 days after the ceremony. These proofs are for students to keep; there is no obligation to purchase photos and all orders carry a full money-back guarantee.

Students with questions can contact Island Photography directly: 800-869-0908.
