Step 1: Set Up Windows
To browse in Czech, your computer must be equipped
with a Central European (CE) font. Installing the font need
be done only once. If you have ever done this on your machine,
or if you are in Brown's Language Lab, you may skip to Step
2.
- Load the Windows CD that
came with your machine into the CD drive.
- In the Start menu, under
the Settings options, select Control Panel.
- Double click the option
to Add/Remove Programs.
- Select the tab labeled
Windows Setup.
- Select the option Multilanguage
Support and click the box labeled Details...
- Select the option for
Central European and click the box labeled OK.
This will return you to Windows Setup.
- Click OK. This
will launch the process of adding Central European functionality
to the machine.
- When prompted to restart
the computer, click Yes.
