Department of Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Biochemistry

Rebecca Page carried out her undergraduate studies in Biochemistry and Applied Mathematics at the University of Arizona . In 2000, she received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Princeton University where she studied the structural mechanism of conformational change in actin with Professor C.E. Schutt. As a post-doctoral fellow with Professor R.C. Stevens at The Scripps Research Institute , she used high-throughput protein production methods and X-ray crystallography to study neuronal metabolic proteins. From 2003-2004, she was the Crystallomics Core Leader for the mouse homologue project at the Joint Center for Structural Genomics. In the fall of 2004, she joined the faculty of Brown University .
